In July 2019, Stephen started as the minister of Hampton Hill and Twickenham URCs (plus  a Synod role in South London.)

He began his working life teaching English in London, then spent two years tutoring at a rehab centre for people who were struggling with drug dependency. His theological training was in Birmingham, done ecumenically alongside Anglican and Methodist students. He has been minister of churches in Hertfordshire, Bristol, and South Wales Valleys.

With the members and friends in the two churches, Stephen is keen that the churches are open to all, regardless of age, ability, faith or creed, and that the good news of God’s love is lived in the community.

He is a keen musician, swimmer and runner, and would like to encourage activities within and outside of the church buildings.
