EXTERNAL WORKS PHASE: COMPLETE
The main garden has been reconfigured and landscaped in accordance with the Planning consent obtained.
Fund raising is underway for the subsequent phases. The rear of the side garden was reconfigured to cater for the expanding demand from the Place to Play group that meets on Tuesday mornings. This group has now welcomed well over 50 families since its inception.
Garfield Weston Foundation has, most kindly, made a generous £10,000 grant to the Place to Go! project at Hampton Hill URC. Members and friends have recently established a 'Commitment Fund' where we give regularly for five years. This will raise in excess of £45,000 from commitments already made.
A generous funding grant of £50,000 towards the first phase of the interior works has been awarded to the church by the Hampton Fuel Allotment Charity.
We are extremely grateful for their support for the project which continues our successful working relationship.
